Overlord: Explanations - Minion Tribe: White

(This based all knowledge I have of Overlord Series and, the ideas and the theories that Overlord Fans have about the Overlord Series. Everything belongs to their respective owners and so please do not sue me.)

White – The Scouts
"The White Minions… By Heads of Taegan! I really hate those know-all, goody good, do-gooders! Always want to 'be friends', 'make peace', 'Master, I do not want to kill the cute little seal puppy' and always off 'drinking tea with the fairies'… eugh. They are disgrace to all of Minionkind! They are the only Minions can fly because that they got Wings, WHITE FEATHERED WINGS! Why not give them a golden halo so that they hang out with Angels of Light! By all that is Evil and Unholly! White Minions! I thought that they all died during the destruction of the First Overlord Empire, I cannot stand them, all of them! They are traitors to the First Overlord and all of Minionkind! They are worse them the Blacks! Sorry about that sir, I lost my cool back there. I really do not like the Whites, those are know-all goodie good-doers are the worst, one of the two Minion Tribes we call the Failures, we Minions do not like talking about them because they are disgrace to all of Minionkind.

White Minion are born from Light Life-force, this type of life-force is filled with light magic, that comes from Creatures of Light Magic or beings with a pure soul after they are killed. Our creator the First Overlord, bestowed the White Minions with the amazing gift of self-powered flight, white feathered wings grow from their backs allowing them to fly in the sky like birds. They were used as scouts to explore a headed for their Overlord, being his eyes from the sky and strike enemies from above like bird of prey. White Minions were the fastest of all the Minion Tribes, my Father loved to tell stories about how the Whites were speed devils that loved to race against one and other to see who is the fastest, and of courses, all other Minion Tribes start to bet on these races. White Minions were also a bunch of mischievous troublemakers that we close friends with Red Minion Tribe, usually both Red and White Minions work together to make jokes and pull pranks on everyone.

However, as time passed, the White Minions started to act different and things went from bad to worse. First, they began to lose their passion for speed and stopped racing saying it was too dangerous, they even stop make jokes and pulling prank that the Reds wondered if their best friends have become sick. They are starting to stick their noses in everyone business, talking about 'making peace' with master's enemies and 'be friends' with them, and then came the howl tree-hugger nonsense and endless complains about how they 'do not want to kill the cute little seal puppy'. They even stopped drinking beer and started to 'drink tea with the fairies' every single time they had free time! Charlie Mopps must be turning over in his grave right about now…

This all happens around the same time that Black Minion Tribe to act overly aggressive and mistrust their fellow Minion Brothers and Sisters. Overlord Alrac, the ruling Overlord of that time, tried to find out why the White and Black Minions behaving so strange. He discovered that some the Light and Dark Life-force he had slay from Crusaders belonging to the Dominion of Light demons that belonged to Horde of Darkness where contaminated with type of forbidden magic. The forbidden holy magic that the Dominion of Light used was very powerful, but very dangerous form of 'purification' magic, but this 'purification' magic takes away freewill turning anyone how is 'purified' into mindless drones with bipolar personalities. One minute they are all acting like overly goodie-good, tree-hugging and tea drinking pansies, and other moment when they see anything with even littlest bit Dark or Evil their personality makes u-turn flip, and they become grazed zealots want they purge all evil for the land. The Gods of Light have forbidden the Forces of Light use of this 'purification' magic as they believe that freewill is the birthright of all living creatures and not even the Dark Gods or the Dark One don't want freewill destroyed as they also believe that every being has right to choose between the Light and Darkness.

But Dominion of Light are extremists who believe that for the "Greater Good" they have to use this Forbidden Magic in order to enforce the will of their gods that they have the right of breaking the first and most sacred of laws lay down by Gods of Light themselves. However, give the fact the majority of Dominion's leadership are corrupted and power hungry to the bone, they most likely want to complete control over the people with this mind controlling 'purification' magic and destroy any one who gets in their way.

There are Rumors in Swamping Pit say that the forbidden holy magic has 'purified' the White Minions into mindless drones and make them believe that their Overlord and all the other Minion Tribes have to be 'purified' for the "Greater Good". Maybe one day we find the Magic Filter, free our poor White Minion brothers and sisters from the control of Dominion of Light.
